Spoken Word for Consonant C

Spoken Word

In SHIFTERS I refer to a band called the Consonant C.  This band really does exist and their music is great, although I don't know much else about them.  Their name has inspired me to write this little riff.

I've got these plans
Oh so many plans to create stuff
to make stuff
do something somewhere for someone
It ignites me
excites me
fuels me, propels me to get up and work and I want to, I do
but I'm tired
and Time escapes me
Drained of my energy
I strain to even lift a finger

Like the Consonant C, I am useless
The world turns without my contribution
I'm not lazy, just depressed
I suppress my sorrow
better luck tomorrow
Like the Consonant C I am replaceable
Incapable of being important.

My plans may be feeble
but I'm still here and able
To write my rhymes
make music sublime
You had your chance to expel me
From your dictionary
But haven't you heard?
I'm in all these words
Like compassion and action, crusade and creation
This is what I am so if you want to talk openly
All you have to do is read me.

Character Profile: Principal Arter

I've always liked Harrison Ford.  Frankly he looks like my dad and he's scary like my dad too. After watching his role in Cowboys and Aliens I knew he would make an ominous Principal Arter.  Read this short clip and imagine Harrison Ford saying the lines.  He fits so well!
Arter's face was invading my space. "You are going to regret your actions tonight." His droopy mouth sprayed spit on me.
"Well, so are you," I sprayed back.
He slapped my face.
I gasped.
"Get her up," he growled. Another hooded man grabbed my shoulders and hauled me to my feet.

Character Profile :\ Yusef

Dev Patil - potential actor to play the role of Yusef
Yusef Hassam.  Member of Halina's Brat Pack. computer hacker, courageous tag-along. slightly judgmental against authority. skrawny little brother, raver, classified desirable by the Over-Ride project.  reality shifter.

I enjoyed creating Yusef's character enough to give him a major role in the next Shifters novel.  In fact, the whole book is written in his point of view.  In Shifters 1 there are some major gaps where we don't know where Yusef goes.  He shifts into other realities "shopping" for a safe place from the Special Force.  In the next book we get to see where he went.

I want to hear from you.  Where do you think he should go?
